Cleaning and Routine Maintenance
The XFe instrument is designed for minimal cleaning, and user maintenance is
not required. All consumables are disposable and none of the instrument
components contact the cell plate or reagents during routine use, preventing
cross-contamination of biological or chemical materials.
Agilent strongly recommends an annual service contract with Preventative
Maintenance to keep your system in good working order.
CAUTION
If you encounter a spill of any reagents or liquids into the sample tray or
system, please contact Technical Support. Do not attempt to open the
instrument unless specifically instructed to do so by an Agilent technical
support representative.
