Connect the power cord supplied with the kit to the IDP-10 pump as shown in

Connect the power cord to back panel of the Agilent GC/MS instrument as
shown in

Turn on the Agilent GC/MS.

Allow the GC/MS to run continuously for approximately 2 hours to remove
any potential excess moisture from the system.

NOTE
The supply of power to the IDP-10 pump is controlled by the Agilent 7000 and
7010 Series GC/MS Instrument. The pump will power up automatically as part
of the overall MSD start process.
