Installing the IDP-10 Pump
To install the Agilent G6697A IDP-10 Scroll Vacuum Pump for Agilent 7000 and
7010 Series GC/MS:

Locate the Centering Ring.

Attach the free end of the new foreline hose assembly to the IDP-10 pump
using the Centering Ring included with the pump and the NW25 Clamp
(0100-0549) included with the kit as shown in

Tighten the hinged clamp securing the valve to the pump hand tight.

WARNING
Do not use the exhaust filter cartridge if the application requires capture or
containment of gases being pumped. Instead, route the pump exhaust to an
appropriate collection system.
