Procedure
The following figure shows the locations of the printer components referenced in this
procedure.

Printhead and print roller locations
To clean the printer components:

Ensure the printhead lever (

) is turned counterclockwise lifting the printhead (

).

Use the special cleaning pen to clean the printhead surface (

). The printhead is the
narrow bar that presses the image through the ribbon and onto the label as the
media move into position on the print roller.
Alternatively, if you do not have the cleaning pen, use a cotton swab dipped in
isopropyl alcohol.

Use isopropyl alcohol and a soft cloth to remove any deposits from the print roller
(

).
IMPORTANT
Allow the printhead to dry for 2–3 minutes before using the printer.
