Maintenance and Troubleshooting
The following is a list of maintenance procedures that must be performed to keep
your instrument running safely and with optimum performance. See the
‘Maintenance’ section in the SpectrAA Help for replacing and cleaning procedures.
To access the Help click Start > All Apps > SpectrAA > SpectrAA Help or, with the
SpectrAA software, open press F1 on your keyboard.
Do not perform any procedures not listed in this manual or in the SpectrAA Help.
Contact your Agilent representative if further information is needed.
The procedures listed below may involve hazardous chemicals and fumes, hot
surfaces, and handling fragile lamps and glass. Always follow the correct
procedure listed in the SpectrAA Help, adhere to all safety and chemical disposal
regulations, and wear the appropriate safety equipment.
WARNING
Corrosive liquid
The contents of the liquid trap may be toxic or corrosive. Dispose of the
contents in accordance with approved procedures and always wear the
appropriate safety equipment.
WARNING
Hot surfaces
Some components within the spectrometer may remain hot after turning
off the instrument. Before performing any maintenance procedures always
allow the components to cool.
