Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting 2200 TapeStation ScreenPlex Images

The bands look 
smudged – especially 
towards the top of 
the lane.

The sample has not 
been mixed properly 
with the loading 
buffer.

Always vortex samples for 5 seconds then spin 
down before placing in the 2200 TapeStation

All of the sample 
and/or ladder bands 
appear very faint.

The lane has not 
loaded optimally.

Always spin down samples before placing in the 
2200 TapeStation to remove any bubbles.
Very rarely, the 2200 TapeStation does not load 
effectively - run the sample again.
