AGFEO T 18
Before you can use your telephone, you must connect all the necessary cables.
1 Connect the longer end of the coil cord to the socket with the receiver symbol and the
shorter end to the telephone receiver.
2 Connect the small plug on the telephone connection cable to the "LINE” socket and the
telephone jack to the telephone socket (position F).
3 If you wish to use a headset (accessories), simply plug the jack into the appropriate socket.
Installation
The MWI (Message Waiting Indicator) switch is for switching between the various message
displays of a PBX.
When using on an AGFEO telecommunications system or a public line, the switch must be
set to position SR.
SR: MWI switches on with a bell signal
HV: MWI switches on when line voltage exceeds 70V
PR1: MWI switches on by line polarity
PR2: As PR1, but polarity reversed
WARNING:
This function is not used by AGFEO PBXs.
For the T 18 to work correctly on an AGFEO PBX, however, the switch MUST be set to “SR”.
