AGFEO T 18
When you connect the unit for the first time, you will be guided through the full settings
menu (Language/LCD Contrast/Date/PABX Prefix/Ringer Melody/Ringer Vol./Short Flash/
T1/T2/T3). You can skip these basic settings at any time by pressing the “Esc” (
) button.
You can call up all these settings later, using the “Menu” (
) button , in the sequence in
which they are described below.
Basic settings on first connection
Language
Set your desired language here so that all operating instructions
will appear on the display in the language you choose.
LCD contrast
Contrast can be set at any of five levels here. This enables you to
adjust the contrast to your angle of view.
Date/time
Enter date and time in a block. Confirm each entry with Ok, other-
wise the new time and date will not be saved. Note that time and
date (except year) will be automatically regulated by transfer of
CLIP data.
PABX Prefix
Enter the number here that you need to key in to obtain an outside
line on the public telephone network (e.g. 0). To prevent wrong
numbers, your telephone will automatically insert a dialling pause
after the outside line code if you key in the number(s) that are
stored as the outside line code.
Ringer Melody
Choose one of the sixteen available ringtones here.
Ringer Volume
Set the desired ringtone volume level here. There are eight levels
available.
Short Flash
(R button)
Select short or long. For PBXs, short flash (approx. 100 ms) is
generally used for initiating functions. On the Deutsche Telekom
network, however, the long flash (approx. 240 ms) is used. No
change to the default value is needed for operation on AGFEO
PBXs.
T1, T2, T3
Set the times for the special ringtone for the message display
(MWI) here. To deactivate the function, set all times to “000”. No
change to the default values is needed for operation on AGFEO
PBXs.
