6.7 Commissioning the product
In connection with the new, coated PTC thermistor probe, it may
happen that the red LED does not go out or the audible alarm does
not stop.
To acknowledge the alarm condition in such a case, press the "Reset
key".

The product has been properly mounted and electrically con-
nected.
1. Apply voltage via the on-site mains fuse.

The green and the red LED light up and the audible alarm
sounds.

If no alarm condition is present, ÖWWG 3 automatically unlocks
after approx. 8 seconds. The red LED goes out and the audible
alarm is switched off.
2. Perform a function test (see chapter 6.6, page 23).
6.8 Performing the function test
At the probe
1. Submerge the probe into the liquid to be detected.

The red LED lights up and the audible alarm sounds.
2. Remove the probe from the liquid and wait for approximately
10 seconds.
3. Press the Reset key for "unlocking".

The red LED goes out and the audible alarm is switched off.
At the control unit
1. Press the Test key.

The supply to the probe is interrupted.

The red LED lights up and the audible alarm sounds.
2. Press the Acknowledge key to switch off the audible alarm.
3. Press the Reset key.

The red LED lights up and the audible alarm sounds.
4. Release the Reset key.

The red LED goes out and the audible alarm is switched off.
