7.4 Assembling the handle part

¾

Insert from the rear the plunger with rear housing GD307227 into
handle part GD307201.

¾

Apply Loctite 572 on handle part GD307201 and tighten the screws
connecting the handle part to rear housing GD307227.

¾

To tack sheath GD307202, apply Uhu Plus “Schnellfest” on connecting
rod GD307210.

¾

Mount sheath GD307202 in its correct position on the plunger.

¾

Slide rocker complete GD307803 into the slot (with steel ball
TA003323 inserted), mount it on sheath GD307202 and swivel it in.

¾

Apply Loctite 572 on locknut GD307203 and screw locknut onto
handle part GD307201.

¾

Mount retaining ring TA007307.

¾

Mount sleeve GD307205.

¾

Screw in countersunk screw TA007306.

¾

Screw on fastening nut GD307207, secure with wire WS-111870080
(length: 7.5 mm) and spot-weld with a laser beam.

¾

Check for smooth running of the assembly.

This completes assembling of the handle part.

8. Postmaintenance

8.1 Function tests

¾

Clamp in the saw blade and test the micro-Line saggital saw with a
suitable drive unit (e.g., flexible shaft).

¾

Cautiously saw into a block of wood.

¾

Check the micro-Line saggital saw for atypical running noises which
would be a sign of defective bearings, gear wheels or connections.

¾

Check the micro-Line saggital saw for heat-up.

The temperature must not exceed 41 °C after 30 seconds of running.

8.2 Surface inspection

¾

Check the surface of the micro-Line saggital saw for sharp-edged
damage and residues.
