INSTALLATION, USE AND MAINTENANCE
MANUAL
WARNING!
The units of the TDA range are de-
signed for the public and service
sectors: any other use (in highly
corrosive environments, in the presence of
potentially explosive surroundings, etc.) is
not permitted.
Installation and maintenance
Before installation, make sure that the unit
has not been damaged during transportation:
the use of a damaged machine may be hazar-
dous.
Installation and supplementary maintenance
must be carried out by trained personnel in
accordance with the present laws.
The unit must not be used as recovery of equi-
pment or spare parts. Any other use other than
that indicated in the present manual may be
hazardous and is therefore prohibited.
Before starting any maintenance or cleaning
operations, make sure that the unit is discon-
nected from the power supply and that it can-
not be reconnected without the knowledge of
the maintenance engineer.
During maintenance and cleaning, take care
of possible scalding from heating coils.
Before starting the unit, make sure that the
electrical parts have been connected to the
building's electrical ground.
During installation, maintenance and clea-
ning, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
must be worn and the correct tools used.
Access to the unit
Access to the unit once it has been installed
must only be permitted to qualifi ed operators
and technicians. The operator is a person who
has been authorised by the owner of the ma-
chine to carry out operations on the said ma-
chine (in accordance with the indications gi-
ven in this manual). The technician is a person
authorised by Aermec, or subordinate under
their own responsibility by a Aermec distribu-
tor, to carry out operations on the machine.
The owner of the machine is the legal repre-
sentative of the company, entity or individual
owner of the system in which the Aermec ma-
chine is installed. These persons are responsi-
ble for the observance of all safety standards
indicated in this manual and the existing law.
As these units are usually installed in suspen-
ded ceilings,
it is important to ensure the lower panelling
can be accessed in order to inspect the fi lters
and fans.
Residual risks
The installation, start-up, shutdown and
maintenance of the machine must be carried
out in accordance with that stipulated in the
technical documentation of the product and
in such a manner that no hazardous situations
are generated. The machine has been desig-
ned so as to reduce to a minimum the risks for
the safety of those persons interacting with
it. During the design phase, it was not techni-
cally possible to completely eliminate the risk
causes. Therefore it is imperative to refer to
the following instructions.
