Remedy
Severe icing of
cooling coil
(evaporator). An ice
block builds up.
Wrong ambient
conditions or air
dehumidifier defective.
Place the air dehumidifier in a
room with a minimum room
temperature of +10 °C and wait
until the ice has defrosted. Switch
the air dehumidifier on and let it
run for about 3 hours. Should a
new ice block build up, please
contact your specialised dealer.
Make sure to operate the air
dehumidifier in rooms with a
minimum temperature of +3 °C.
Problems may arise of the
dehumidifier is immediately
switched on after storage in
colder environments.
The humidity set on
the hygrostat is not
achieved or the air
dehumidifier does not
automatically switch
off.
Hygrostat set to a value
< 45% r. h.
Depending on the ambient
conditions your air dehumidifier
can reach a minimum value
of 40 – 45% r. h. Set the
hygrostat to an achievable value
(e.g. to about 50% r. h.) to ensure
that the air dehumidifier will
switch off in time.
The air dehumidifier is
not sufficiently
dimensioned for the
application.
Room temperature, air exchange
rate and open water surfaces, if
any, are decisive for the humidity
load of the room. Ask your
specialised dealer to calculate the
capacity required for your
application.
There is a lot of humidity
in the walls, the floor etc.
In this case the air dehumidifier
will need some time to remove
the water and achieve an
acceptable value in the room.
