"Change coding mode / audio profile": allows or forbids the user to change the
encoding mode for next call (or the profile, when operating in SIP modes) using the
"CODEC" key. However, the actual coding for the selected channel can always be
checked by means of a long press on that key.
•
"Change IP configuration": allows or forbids the user to change the unit’s IP
address, mask, gateway or DNS, as well as changing from manual to DHCP mode
or vice-versa ("ETHERNET" submenu options).

"Modify communications settings (port, buffer, ...)": allows or forbids the user to
alter certain communication parameters such as the kind and size of the receiving
buffer, local RTP port, SIP parameters, etc. ("COMMUNICATIONS" submenu
options).
•
"Modify maintenance values (date, time, ...)": allows or forbids the user to alter
certain parameters such as date and time, activate loops or test tones, etc.
("MAINTENANCE" submenu options).
•
"Dial using IP / URI": when activated, the local user can make calls by manually
dialing <IP:Puerto> pair or a URI (when operating in SIP modes). Otherwise, calls
can only be made from the agenda or calls history list (provided that next option is
enabled).

"Dial using Contacts list / Last calls list": when activated, the local user can
make calls by selecting a contact from the agenda or a call from the calls history. If
the former option is also disabled, the user cannot make calls from the front panel
(but he/she will be able to answer incoming calls and, in any case, calls can be sent
from "AEQ ControlPhoenix" application by a remote operator).
•
"Hang up, reject or accept calls": allows or forbids the usuer to hang up, reject or
accept calls from the unit's interface.
•
"Change input routing (PROG/COORD/CUE)": allows or forbids the user to
change which bus each input is routed to (PROG / COORD / CUE) by means of the
corresponding "ON" key. The restriction affects all 4 inputs.
•
"Change input adjustments (preamp gain, tone, ...)": allows or forbids the user to
make adjustments on the configuration of any of the 4 inputs, such as preamp. gain,
equalization, Phantom power supply or shift from line to mic (adjustments accessed
by pressing the corresponding encoder).
•
"Modify input level": allows or forbids the user to modify the send level of the
inputs by turning the associated rotary encoder.
•
"Change output routing (PROG/COORD/CUE)": allows or forbids the user to
change the audio source for the headphone / line outputs by pressing the
associated encoder.
•
"Modify output level": allows or forbids the user to change the headphone and line
output level by turning the associated rotary encoder.
•
"Modify output TX/RX mix": allows or forbids the user to adjust the ratio of
transmission and reception of the corresponding output by turning the associated
TX/RX potentiometer.
