as "OL", or forced to zero, the display of the power factor is an
indeterminate value "----".
Note (2)
The power factor is given a sign that indicates whether the load is
inductive (sign "+") or capacitive (sign "-"). This sign is not determined
by that of the active power, but by the phase lead or lag between the
U and I signals.
