Water Cooling
It may be necessary to cool down the washing solution before pumping
it out in order to prevent thermal damage to plastic drainage pipes.

The washing solution is cooled down before pumping out at the end of
the washing cycle (by the addition of cold water).
(This setting is only effective with
t
/COTTONS/LINEN with a tempera-
ture of over 40 °C.)
As supplied from the factory, the water cooling function is not enabled.
Enabling the water cooling function:
0
1.
Turn program selector to F (SHORT SPIN).
2.
Keep the button
k
(PRE-WASH) pressed for at least 5 seconds.
After the button has been pressed for 5 seconds,
l
(MAIN WASH)
flashes on the program sequence display for 5 seconds.
3.
While
l
(MAIN WASH) is flashing, release the button
k
(PRE WASH).
After the flashing has stopped, the solution cooling is set. It is active
until it is cancelled again.

If you wish to check whether the water cooling function is enabled:
– Turn program selector to F (SHORT SPIN).
– Briefly press the button
k
(PRE-WASH).
If
l
(MAIN WASH) flashes on the program sequence display, the solu-
tion cooling is set.
Disabling the water cooling function:

Turn program selector to F (SHORT SPIN).
2.
Keep the button
k
(PRE-WASH) pressed for at least 5 seconds.
As soon as the button is pressed,
l
(MAIN WASH) flashes on the pro-
gram sequence display. After 5 seconds,
l
(MAIN WASH) stops flas-
hing and lights up constantly for 5 seconds.
3.
While
l
(MAIN WASH) lights up constantly release the button
k
(PRE-WASH). After
l
(MAIN WASH) has stopped lighting up, the solu-
tion cooling is cancelled.

Solution cooling increases water consumption and the program dura-
tion.
Additional Rinse and Water Cooling
The additional rinse cycle and the solution cooling can be combined.
Setting as under "Additional rinse“ and "Solution cooling“.
