key to exit the recalled trace and return to a live Measurement
Screen. Note the cable type will now be the one used to test the recalled trace and all TDR
setups will be the ones used with the recalled trace.
If no trace is being recalled, press
to exit the list and return to the Measurement
Screen.
Restore Prior Settings
When a trace is recalled from the memory, the TDR must be restored to the settings used at the
time the trace was saved. If you desire to return to the original settings being used before one or
more traces were recalled press the
key to access the memory functions menu shown
in Figure 3-1 above. Then use the
▼
key to move the cursor down to “PRIOR SETTINGS” and
press the
►
key to restore the TDR’s settings and cable type being used before recalling traces
from memory.
Delete Traces
To delete a highlighted trace press
key and follow on-screen directions. The ESC key
will cancel the delete procedure, any other key pressed will complete the deletion. Traces can
also be deleted using procedures in ETDR PC Vision.
CAUTION: There is no “Undelete.” All deletions in the TDR’s memory are permanent.
