1.3.5 Graphics/Audio
The Intel

Xeon
®
Processor D family lacks graphics. Likewise, SOM-5993 does not
support display and audio. Graphics are defined according to specific user scenarios
based on system specifications. Please contact Advantech sales or FAE for further
details.
1.3.6 Expansion Interface

Processor D natively integrates 1 x PCIe x16 interface with support for
up to 4 x devices at up to Gen4 speeds (8 GHz). SOM-5993 supports 1x PCIe x16,
and is configurable to 4 x4, 2 x4 and 1 x8 or 1 x8 and 2 x4 or 2 x8.
Note!
Installing memory modules in pairs on SOM-5993 requires filling the
lowest numbered slots first.
For example, the SOM-5993 has two slots each for channel A (CH-A)
and channel B (CH-B), numbered 0 and 1. Fill the slots for CH-A0 and
CH-B0 first, then CH-A1 and CH-B1 second.
