Critical system fault is an error or event that is
detected by the system which has a significant impact
to the system. In this case, the system cannot continue
to operate or is operating in a non-redundant power or
cooling configuration.
Conditions that trigger this LED include:
- Processor (thermal trips, internal errors, and
Memory (single and multi-bit errors, ECC errors)
- Temperature (baseboard and processor temperature)
- Fan (failure, speed irregularities)
- Voltage (standby, baseboard, and processors)
- PSU failure

Major Alarm (System Status LED)
One system status LED in red color is provided for the
SKY-8260S system chassis. The system status LED
behavior is based on Platform Event Filtering (PEF)
alert rules, which can be configured by user. The
default configuration is to light up if any critical sensor
threshold or critical discrete events (fan failure, power
supply failure) occurs. These events will trigger the
LED to light up. And the LED will turn off automatically
when all critical events are absent.

Minor Alarm
The Minor Alarm LED is ON when the BMC detects a
minor system failure event but such event does not
affect the system’s normal operation. Such events are
defined as any non-critical BMC sensor event (such as
SEL_FULL) being asserted or Case Intrusion sensor
having triggered.

Power State LED
This LED is on in normal mode and will be cleared in
case of a failure event in the power subsystem, such
as a loss of redundancy.
