22 PCM-4824 User's Manual
Flat panel display connector (CN1)
CN1 consists of a 44-pin, dual-in-line header. Power supplies
(+12 V) present on CN2 depend on the supply connected to the
board.
The PCM-4824 provides a bias control signal on CN1 which can
be used to control the LCD bias voltage. It is recommended that
the LCD bias voltage not be applied to the panel until the logic
supply voltage (+5 V) and panel video signals are stable. Under
normal operation the control signal (ENAVEE) is active high.
When the PCM-4824 board's power is applied, the control signal
is low until just after the relevant flat panel signals are present.
Configuration of the LCD type is done completely via the
software utility. You don't have to set any jumpers. Refer to
Chapter 3 for software setup details.
Refer to Chapter 3 for details on connecting the four standard
LCD's: Sharp LM64183P, Toshiba LTM09C016, Sharp 64C142,
and Planar EL Display.
