IOS Settings
 Console Redirection
This item allows users to enable/disable the console redirection function. The
default setting is “disabled”.
 Console Redirection Settings
When the console redirection function is enabled, this item becomes available.
The settings specify how the host computer and remote computer exchange
data. Both computers should have the same or compatible settings.
 Legacy Console Redirection Settings
This item shows the legacy serial port number.
4.4.5 CPU Configuration
This page shows the system CPU information.
 Hyper-Threading
This item allows users to enable/disable the CPU hyper-threading function. The
default setting is “enabled”.
 Active Processor Cores
This item allows users to select the number of cores to enable for each proces-
sor package. The default setting is “all”.
 Intel Virtualization Technology
This item allows users to enable/disable Intel Virtualization Technology. When
enabled, a VMM can utilize the additional hardware capabilities provided by
Vanderpool Technology. The default setting is “enabled”.
 Boot Performance Mode
This item allows users to select the performance state that the BIOS will set
before OS handoff. The default setting is “max. non-turbo performance”.
