1.
Verify ac power feed.
2.
Verify power on led is on.
3.
Verify fan operation and speed controller operation.
At speed controller PCB:
A10-P1 pin 1 to A10-P1 pin 2 should be +12 V ± 0.5V.
At P1-J1 connector between speed controller and fans:
P1 pin 3 to P1 pin 1 shoul be a voltage between 11.5 VDC and 60 VDC,
depending on the temperature of the hot spot of SSPA.

Verify voltage on main power supply: +12V ± 0.5V. Refer to
Section
9.11
at page 44 for
replacement.
5.
Verify voltage on secondary power supply:
A5-P2 pin1 to A5-P2 pin 2 should be +15V ± 0.5V.
A5-P2 pin 3 to A5-P2 pin 2 should be -15V ± 0.5V.
A5-P2 pin 4 to A5-P2 pin 2 should be -9V ± 0.5V.
A5-P2 pin 5 to A5-P2 pin 6 should be +5V± 0.1V
6.
Verify voltage at Monitor & Controller Board:
A4-P11 pin 1 to A4-P11 pin 4 should be +5 V ± 0.25V.
A4-P10 pin 1 to A4-P10 pin 2 should be +15 V ± 0.5V.
A4-P10 pin 3 to A4-P10 pin 2 should be – 15 V ± 0.5V.

Verify RF input level.

Verify attenuation setting on front panel. Refer to

Verify input power connection.
4.
Verify output power reading on front panel.
5.
Verify mute on/off.
6.
Verify U-link between pins 8 and 15 on discrete interface connector (J3).
