5.2 RS-232 INTERFACE

This serial communication interface offers to the operator the essential monitoring and control of
the SSPA or the redundant system using any PC terminal software. An IBM compatible personal
computer can be connected to this port. The interface uses a 6-pin circular connector mounted on
the SSPA enclosure. The type of mounting connector is listed in
