Optional Features – Power Meter & Light Source
The unit also offers the optional features of both a power meter and laser light
source.
To enter the Power Meter and Laser Light Source mode
press the F4 button “Device” when in the main menu.
This will open the device menu as shown here.
To enter the Power Meter and Laser Light Source field
press the F4 button “Power Meter” again.
This will open the Power Meter and Laser Light Source
field as shown here.
To select a specific wavelength press the F1 button
“Wavelength”. This will enable the user to scroll to the
desired wavelength and select that wavelength by hitting
the
return
key.

650/850/1310/1490/1550/1625nm
F3 “Reference Level” enables the user to display the
reference level, enter a specified reference value or “fix”
use the current dBm level as a zero reference value by
scrolling to the desired option and hitting the return key.
F4 “Light Source” enables the user to turn the 1310nm or
the 1550nm light source on or off. Both wavelengths
have two transmitting options either CW(constant wave)
or 2Khz mode.
