Information about the Trace
Each trace has an information panel with the option to add additional operating
information.
To access the panel
•
Enter the trace screen and menu.
•
Press
F4
(Traces)
to activate the trace list.
•
Use the
up/down
arrow to highlight the desired
trace.
•
Press
F4
(More) to activate additional trace
menu.
•
Press
F3
(Information) to open the information
panel.
•
Use the
left/right
arrows to navigate between tabs.
•
Use the
up/down
arrows to navigate between text windows.
•
Press
Enter
to enter or modify text in the General Tab.
•
Press
C
to close the window and save the information.
Changing Parameters for a Measured Trace
Once in the information panel the technician has the option to change the trace
parameters (Analysis Thresholds, Backscattering Coefficient and Refraction Index)
•
Enter the trace screen and menu.
•
Press
F4
(Traces)
to activate the trace list.
•
Use the
up/down
arrow to highlight the desired
trace.
•
Press
F4
(More) to activate additional trace
menu.

(Information) to open the information panel.
•

Analysis thresholds) to change automatic analysis thresholds.

(Change BC) to change the back scattering
coefficient.
•

(Change refindex) to change the refraction
index value.

arrows to modify
the values.
