VT-100 TERMINAL CONNECTION AND OPERATION
To control the DSU IV ESP using a VT-100 terminal, perform the
following procedure:
1. Select a terminal interface through the front panel. Select

2. Set the C
ONTROL

to match the VT 100 terminal.
3. Using the provided VT-100 terminal adapter cable, connect the
C
OM
port of a VT 100 compatible terminal or equivalent to the
eight-pin modular jack labeled C
ONTROL
on the rear of the DSU
IV ESP. This connection is used for both local and remote
configuration.
4. Establish the connection and press
Enter
repeatedly until the

ENU
appears (Figure 3-5).

5. Make selections by entering the number corresponding to the
chosen parameter. Press

to return to the previous screen.
