4.2 VGA Driver Installation
Windows 2000/XP will attempt to install a standard VGA driver
automatically. To guarantee compatibility, manually install the
most up-to-date VGA driver, which is provided on the ADLINK CD.
After installing Windows 2000/XP, install the most up-to-date
driver by following these steps:
1. Boot Windows 2000/XP, then run the program
X:\NuPRO\NuPRO-860\VGA\win2k_xp142.exe
, where
X is the CD drive letter.
2. The VGA driver will automatically be installed onto the
system.
3. Restart the system.
4.3 LAN Driver Installation
This section describes the LAN driver installation process for the
Intel® 82541GI Gigabit Ethernet Controller
under Windows
2000/XP. The Intel® software utilities package include a Diagnos-
tics Utility, Makedisk Utility, and the 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet
device drivers. All drivers and utilities are stored in the ADLINK CD
under the directory:
