Getting Started

cPCI-6910 Series

On the cPCI-R6910 rear transition module

The cPCI-6910 supports a 2.5" Serial ATA or Serial Attached
SCSI (SAS) HDD. All accessories are packed in the HDD acces-
sory pack (DB-R6910SAT/DB-R6910SAS HDD kit).

To install a SATA/SAS hard disk drive to the RTM:

SAS HDD only

: Locate the bundled plastic film, remove

the adhesive strips, then stick the film into the drive tray
bottom. Make sure that the film and the tray screw holes
align.

SAS HDD only

: Place the SAS HDD on the drive tray,

then secure it with one screw.
