1.2Overview of cPCI-3938
1.21 What is cPCI-3938?
The cPCI-3938 is an intelligent serial port controller module used for
Compact PCI platform. It includes a local high performance processor to
manage the data flow between main CPU and external interface. It also
includes dual port RAM, through the dual port RAM, the local processor
can communicate with main CPU.
The LED indicators in the front are for self-diagnosis and network status,
and it use rear IO to connect external I/O ports, all the I/O interface control
circuitry and connector are built in one expansion module. There are
different modules for different interface and control function requirement.
