Maximum Cable Lengths

The total length of cabling (internal and external) on the SCSI bus 
may not exceed the maximum lengths listed in the table.

Using SCSI

Select

If you are running Windows on your computer, you can use 
Adaptec SCSI

Select

 software to change SCSI settings without 

opening the computer or handling the card and you can low-level 
format or verify the disk media of your SCSI hard disk drives. The 
table lists the available and default settings for each SCSI

option.

The default settings are appropriate for most systems. Run
