The battery icon changes from its normal icon (just a
battery) to its reconditioning icon (battery with a lightning
bolt).
Once the reconditioning cycle is complete, the battery icon
changes back to the normal version.
Testing the Alarm on the Controller
If your controller has an alarm installed, you can test it to make sure
it is working.
To test the alarm on the controller:

In the System Browser window, select the controller you want
to test.

Click Properties .
The Controller Properties dialog box appears.

Click the Battery/Alarm tab.

Click Test Alarm .
You should hear the alarm sound if it is present on the
controller. If no alarm is present on the controller, Storage
Manager Pro displays a message box stating that the alarm is
not supported.
To turn the alarm off:

In the System Browser window, select the controller that is
sounding the alarm.

Click Silence Alarm in the Command Buttons pane.
Storage Manager Pro turns the alarm off.
