To install Storage Manager for UnixWare 7

Mount the CD-ROM

mount -r -F cdfs /dev/cdrom/cdrom1/mnt

Install the package from the CD using the following command

pkgadd -d /mnt/packages/UnixWare/apps/sm/

DPTSM.PKG

Follow the prompts to complete the installation.

Installing Adaptec Storage Management Software

Note: 

If you have DPT Storage Manager software on your 

system, uninstall the DPT software before you install Adaptec 
Storage Manager.

Adaptec SCSI RAID controllers include four software tools to manage 
your storage subsystem.

Storage Manager Pro is a Java application that provides configuration 
and array management functions with security features that protect 
your array configurations from unauthorized changes. 

Storage Manager is a multi platform tool that can configure the 
controller and disk subsystem. Both applications can operate on a local 
host or from a remote client and provide broadcast event notification.
