13 OEM Warranty
ACTIS Computer, warrants their product against any defect in material and workmanship, under normal
use, for a period of two years from the date of purchase. In the event this product is found to be defective
within the warranty period, ACTIS Computer will, at its option, repair or replace the defective single board
computer.
This warranty is void if:
a) The board was operated or stored under condition of abnormal use or maintenance
b) The board is repaired, modified or altered, unless such repair, modification or alteration is
expressly authorized in writing by ACTIS Computer
c) The board was subject to abuse neglect, lighting strike, electrical fault, improper packaging or
accident
d) The board was installed improperly
e) The serial number of the board is defaced or missing
f) The board was not purchased from ACTIS Computer or from an authorized retailer
ACTIS Computer will not, under circumstances, be liable for direct, special or consequential damages
such as, but not limited to, damage or loss of property or equipment, loss of profits or revenues, cost of
replacement goods, or expense or inconvenience caused by service interruptions. Under no
circumstances will any person be entitled to any sum greater than the purchase price paid for the board.
The warranty service is available y contacting your local ACTIS Computer representative, and provide
your purchase order information to ensure warranty terms appliance. All board returned for repair or
inspection operation need to be returned into their original box.
13.1 RMA request
To request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, you need to contact your local ACTIS
Computer representative.
ACTIS Computer will only accept product return from its agreed representative network, OEM customer
need to contact its local representative to handle this procedure. ACTIS Computer will not accept product
without RMA identification.
The RMA request procedure requires the following information:
Customer information
Product identification (quantity, reference, serial number)
Purchase date
Fault description
