14.0 Installing ACTWin
ACTpro 1500 can be configured and managed by ACTWin software.
ACTWin must be used on sites with more than one ACTpro 1500.
Before installing ACTWin software ensure the user account has sufficient rights to install
applications.
1. Download and extract the setup program
ACTWin lite software can be downloaded from the Access Control Technology web site
http://www.accesscontrol.ie
;
2. Installing ACTWin
For Windows 7 or Vista right click on ACTWin
setup file and select
“
run as administrator
”
then
follow the on-screen instructions to complete the
installation.
For Windows XP right click on ACTWin setup file and select
run
then follow the on-screen
instructions to complete the installation; make sure the logged on user has sufficient rights
to install application.
