A2 INSTRUCTIONS FOR PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
A2.1 Periodic maintenance
•
Check for AcquaSIL 20/40
®
consumption
As AcquaSIL 20/40
®
is consumed, the tank level lowers until it drops below the minimum. Before
reaching the minimum provide for the replenishment (see below).
•
Check for proper working
Make sure that AcquaSIL 20/40
®
is consumed regularly. AcquaSIL 20/40
®
drops proportionally to
water treated.
•
Replenishment of AcquaSIL 20/40
®
Provide for replenishment of AcquaSIL tank periodically. See the following instructions.
Attention! New MiniDOS tank has an increased volume (300 ml capacity). Using a 250 g refill bag
you will not reach the maximum level indicated on the tank but it does not fill for more than a half. If
you use the 1 kg refill bottle you can reach the maximum level in the tank.
A2.2 Inactivity
After inactivity open a tap for at least 3-4 minutes to flush all the piping system. This precautionary
operation should always be performed after inactivity of water distribution systems independently of
the presence of water treatment devices.
The term inactivity indicates the absence of withdrawal from any tap (e.g. during holiday).
If the distribution system is subject to cleaning and/or disinfection it is necessary to include the
equipment in the intervention as well.
Cleaning/disinfection is part of the extraordinary maintenance interventions and must
be carried out by an authorized Technical Service Centers (TSC).
MiniDOS is not designed to treat closed circuit water, climatization system water, process
and waste water.
