Removing the Battery

1. Perform the
“Removing the Back Cover”
procedure described on page
3-7

2. Disconnect the battery cable from the mainboard connector.
If a black tape is attached to the connector cable, detach the tape first and disconnect the
battery cable from the mainboard connector.

3. The battery is attached to the middle frame with double-sided adhesive tapes. Slowly and
gently pry the battery off the middle frame.

If a plastic pull tab is included with battery, use the plastic pull tab to gently lift the
battery out of the tablet.
