The Advanced menu screen contains parameters involving your hardware devices. It also provides advanced
settings of the system.
The table below describes the parameters in the screen. Settings in
boldface
are the default and suggested
parameter settings.

Selects serial port address and IRQ.

Parallel Port
Selects parallel port address and IRQ.
Enabled
/Disabled/Auto
Mode
Allows user to specify the operating mode of parallel
port.
Note:
Shows up if Parallel Port is set to Auto or
Enabled.
ECP
, EPP, Bi-directional, or Output
only
Base I/O address
Allows the user to choose the resource if the
‘Parallel Port’ is set to ‘Enable’.
Note:
Shows up if Parallel Port is set to Enabled.
