4.3. Plumb Up and Plumb Down Calibration

1. When the up and down laser 

points are beyond tolerance as 
shown in the figure to the right, 
they can be adjusted using the 
power adjusting screw (see 
below). ‘

When the instrument is in 
the state1, you can loosen
the screw 2 and tighten
screw 1. 

When the instrument is in 
the state2, you can loosen
the screw 1 and tighten
screw 2.

When the instrument is in 
the state3, you can loosen
the screw 4 and tighten
screw 3. 

When the instrument is in the 
state4, you can loosen the 
screw 3 and tighten screw 4
