Caring for Your Finger Pricker
DO
•
Wipe off any blood immediately
•
Clean the finger pricker and cap regularly
•
At least once a week, clean the finger pricker and inside
of the cap with a cloth or cotton bud moistened with:
•
70% ethanol or 70% isopropanol (available in pharmacies)
•
Air dry thoroughly
DO NOT
•
Dip the cap in water or cleaning fluids. This can damage the cap.
•
Use any cleaning products other than 70% ethanol or 70% isopropanol.
