9. Maintenance and repair
Make sure that the lens of
HORSE PROTECTOR
is always free of dust
and dirt. The cleaner the lens, the better the images / videos and
analysis results. It is important to keep the IR light source clean as well
to achieve optimal elucidation.
HORSE PROTECTOR
and the IR light source are electrical devices that
need to be kept away from water. Always make sure that no rain or
other water gets in touch with the devices, cable or power supply. In
addition, it must be ensured that no dirt and dust accumulates on the
devices. To ensure safe operation, ensure adequate ventilation of the
device and the IR light source as well as the power supply. These are
technical devices that generate heat. To avoid overheating, do not
place the devices near heat sources, avoid direct sunlight or strong
artificial light, any kind of insulation or poor ventilation. With insufficient
heat dissipation the devices can be damaged. ACARiS is not liable for
damage caused by the improper use of
HORSE PROTECTOR
and the
associated IR light sources.
