The Citabria can be easily manoeuvred by one man when on firm level ground. A hand hold is
provided on the right side of the fuselage forward of the tail. The tail can be lifted completely off
the ground or the tail wheel steering can be disengaged with a sufficient side load for free
castering. If additional manpower is required, use the forward wing strut applying force close to
the fuselage attach fitting.
