Fuel level emulator (FLE)
1
–
fuel level emulator installed in the petrol tank.
FLE-FC
– emulator type designed for vehicles (mainly French models), in which float
resistance is kept within 0
– 600Ω.
FLE-JC
– emulator type designed for vehicles (mainly Japanese models), in which
float resistance is kept wit
hin 10Ω - 550Ω.
Prior to selection of the emulation type, connect the controller to the float circuit
(figures 7
÷9) using a dedicated harness, type W-EPP-1 (STAG-300 QMAX PLUS) or
W-EPP-2 (STAG-4 QBOX/QNEXT PLUS).
In the case of FLE-FC emulation, connect only the yellow line, without cutting
the float circuit.
Fuel pressure emulator (FPE)
2
– this option activates the integrated petrol pressure
emulator, required for vehicles that generate fuel pressure errors when the engine is
fuelled by gas. In order to use the option, connect the controller to the petrol pressure
control circuits as shown on figure 8, according to recommendations presented in Table 1.
Next, perform emulator calibration (Figure 23). In order to initiate the procedure, press the
Start button and start the engine that has been warmed up earlier. The calibration is an
automatic process and takes about 3 minutes. Correct calibration will end with the
“Completed successfully” message.

AUX output configuration
3
–
enables operating mode to be selected for universal control
output. This output can provide voltage close to that of the battery. Output current capacity
of 0.25A.
Possible configurations:
TAP
CONTROL
– If a TAP (timing advance processor) is installed in the vehicle. The
blue wire of the TAP harness should be connected to the AUX output.
F
UEL PUMP CONTROL
–
If the autogas system contains a fuel pump cut-off relay.
S
ECOND SOLENOID VALVE CONTROL
– the AUX output performs a role of the second
solenoid valve control.
A
CTIVE WHEN ENGINE IS RUNNING
– the AUX output will be actuated if engine rpm
signals are detected.
A
CTIVE WHEN PETROL IS USED
– the AUX output will be actuated if the controller is in
the PETROL mode.
A
CTIVE WHEN GAS IS USED
– the AUX output will be actuated if the controller is in the
GAS mode.
In QBOX/QNEXT controller harnesses, the AUX output (pin 2L) is unassigned.

This applies to new hardware versions of the controllers (STAG-300 QMAX PLUS, STAG-4 QNEXT PLUS,
STAG-4 QBOX PLUS from version 3/B0)
2
The function is present only in STAG-300 QMAX PLUS controllers
