6. Diagnosis for overload and discharge malfunction (AP1 below is control board of outdoor unit)
Main detection point:
• Is the electron expansion valve connected securely? Is the expansion valve damaged?
• Is the refrigerant leaking?
• Is the overload protector damaged?
Malfunction diagnosis process:
20 minutes after the
complete unit is powered off

Is the overload protector
SAT is well connected?
Under ambient temperature, test the
resistance of overload protector with ohmic
meter, resistance value 1000

The resistance value of first 4 lead foot and
the fifth lead foot is similar, less than 100

Is the wiring terminal FA
of electron expansion well
connected?
Replace EKV coil of electron
expansion valve

If the fault is eliminated?
Replace control board AP1

Connect wire securely with
wiring diagram?
