Safety information
7.1
General
Warning
•
The wireless smoke alarm / heat detector does not detect gas, steam, heat or
fire/flames. Detectors with special sensors are required for this.
•
Persons with impaired hearing cannot hear the alarm. Special alarms with optical
signalisation are available for such cases.
•
Smoke alarms / heat detectors help save lives. Therefore, for safety's sake, you should
regularly test the battery and the operation of the detector. For day-to-day use,
remember that the wireless smoke alarm / heat detector cannot prevent fires but simply
provides signalization in the event of such a fire. For your own safety, please replace
the wireless smoke alarm / heat detector every 10 years at the latest.
•
Very high electromagnetic radiation can cause malfunctions. Therefore, avoid
installation near devices which produce electromagnetic radiation.
