PREFACE
Dear customer,
Thank you for purchasing this IP alarm module. This device is built
according to state-of-the-art technology. It complies with current
domestic and European regulations. Conformity has been proven,
and all related certifications are available from the manufacturer on
request (www.abus-sc.com). To ensure proper and safe operation,
it is your obligation to observe these installation instructions! If you
have any questions, please contact your local specialist dealer.
1. Safety information
The IP alarm module is supplied with direct current from a 12 V
power source (not included). The maximum power consumption of
the connected components must not exceed 1 A at any time.
The device is designed for indoor use only. Humidity must not
exceed 90% (non-condensing).
2. Features
The IP alarm module is an intelligent combination of alarm
technology and video surveillance. It is used to convert network
commands into 868 MHz wireless signals and vice versa. In this
way, you can activate your Eytron digital recorder using the
Secvest 2WAY wireless remote control or start a recording using a
wireless detector, for example. Apart from the FU8110 and
FU8165 operating units, all wireless components in the Secvest
2WAY range are compatible.
