9. Release the chain (16 / Figure E) from the lock and push it back into the
cylinder (6 / Figure G).
10. Wait until the lubricant comes out of the screw plug and close the screw plug
(4 / Figure A, B, C).
11. The conveyor system is now ready for operation and can be opened by
connecting the compressed air (2 / Figure F) or the external control (25 /
Figure H) can be started. Bleed the lubricant pump through the medium outlet
(3 / Figure A) or bleed valve (10 / Figure C).
Operation
Cartridge change
The sensor (12 / Figure C) switches when the piston has reached the end position. If
the piston is in the end position, the cartridge is empty and must be changed. If the
sensor does not switch or switches too early, the position must be corrected. This
can be done by adjusting the lock nuts and the screw-in depth of the sensor
(12 / Figure C).
To change the cartridge, the system must be separated from the air (2 / Figure F).
Steps 1-11 from the initial start-up can then be carried out.
Packing, Transport and Storage
ABNOX prepares the product for transportation to the respective initial destination.
The packing unit must not be subjected to excessive strain. Protect the packaging
and contents against exposure to moisture. Keep the temperature between –20 °C
and +40 °C during transportation.
Transport Damages
If transport damage is found during the receiving inspection, proceed as follows:
•
Notify the carrier (shipper etc.)
•
Record the damage
•
Inform the supplier
NOTE
The table pump is designed for pumping from cartridges with
dimensions according to the DIN 1284 standard. With cartridges with
different dimensions or with cylinders with manual filling or filling with
filling devices, leaks can occur.
