Therapy Features
The device provides the following therapy features.
3.2.1
Inspiratory Trigger
An important characteristic of the device is its ability to trigger on the patient’s
inspiration to help synchronize the therapy with the patient.
The inspiratory trigger feature is available when the device is in Auto mode. The
pressure delivery sequence is synchronized with the patient’s effort to inhale.
When the inspiratory trigger setting is activated in Auto mode, therapy starts in the
Pause phase until patient effort is detected or the Pause phase times out after 30
seconds and device goes in standby mode.
