5.1 ATI Hybrid CrossFireX Technology
The ATI Hybrid CrossFireX provides a significant performance boost to AMD based systems by
enabling the ability for both discrete graphics (dGPU) and integrated graphics (iGPU) processors
to render simultaneously in a CrossFireX mode. The end result is to provide significant
improvements in 3D graphics performance and enhance quality to the user’s gaming
experience.
5.1.1 Setup Requirements
1. Vista operating system.
2. This motherboard with any of the following graphics cards: RADEON HD 3450, RADEON HD
3470, or RADEON HD 2400 series.
3. Use the latest Phenom Processors and dual channel DDR2-800 or higher for optimal results.
4. 1GB of system memory or higher.
5. BIOS option “Surround View” = “Enabled”.
6. Connect the Hybrid CrossFireX output from graphics card.
5.1.2 Desktop Performance
For optimal performance, an HT3 processor with dual-channel DDR2-800 memory should be
used. Lower performing components will result in lower scaling. The greater the difference
between the chipset and graphics card, the lower the scaling.
RADEON HD 3470 will show mixed results based on the benchmark tested and memory
configuration used. A RADEON HD 3450 and HT3 processor is recommended for best results.
5.1.3 Setup Procedures
