1.10 Connecting Rear Panel I/O Devices
The rear I/O part of this motherboard provides the following I/O ports:
•
Mouse:
Connects to PS/2 mouse.
•
Keyboard:
Connects to PS/2 keyboard.
•
USB:
Connects to USB devices such as scanner, digital speakers, monitor, mouse,
keyboard, hub, digital camera, joystick etc.
•
HDMI1:
Connects to multimedia devices of HDMI protocol.
To enable this HDMI function, you will have to select “
HD Audio rear output
” as the
sound playback device in the “
Sounds and Audio Devices Properties
” by Windows’
Control Panel.
※
Connect only one monitor through “HDMI1” or “DVI1” port. There is no
guarantee on simultaneously outputting to monitors connected through
both “HDMI1” and “DVI1” ports.
•
VGA1/DVI1:
Connects to monitor.
•
RCA1:
This connector provides an S/PDIF-Out connection.
•
LAN1:
Connects to Local Area Network.
•
AUDIO1:
Line-In:
Connects to the line out from external audio sources.
Line-Out:
Connects to the front left and front right channel.
Mic-In:
Connects to the plug from external microphone.
