2.23 How to create a log file that you can send to Abilia
Sometimes it happens that there is an error in the software so that the Control Omni
freezes or restarts. The problem may recur periodically. To facilitate troubleshooting,
you can send a log file with information what happened to Abilia.
NOTE! Before sending a log file, you can try to update to latest software and test if
this solves the problem. Latest software is available to be downloaded on Abilias
website. See the link below. There is also information how to do it.

If the error recurs despite the software is updated, you can create a log file that you
send to Abilia for investigation.
To create a log file, proceed as follows:
1.
Insert a memory card into the Control Omni. See picture
where you put in the memory card. A memory card is
supplied with the Control Omni.
NOTE! If you have used the card to make a backup, you
should use a different memory card (Micro SD card) to
avoid the risk that the backup file is destroid by mistake.
2.
Go into settings, follow the path below.

Copy log file
Continue
3.
Remove the memory card from the Control Omni and
insert it into an adapter. An adapter is included with
Control Omni.
4.
Insert the adapter into your PC and copy the folder "Gewa".
5.
Send the file to Abilia service department.
It is important that the date and time when the error occurred is noted to facilitate
troubleshooting. NOTE! The date and time that you find in Control Omni!
