6.1 Attaching the extraction hose
A maximum of two fume extraction torches may be attached to the device. If only one fume extraction torch
is connected, the cap for the second connector should be closed to ensure optimal extraction.

Improper use or connection can result in fire. This may result in serious burns.
► Ensure that the operating voltage specified on the nameplate is suitable for the connection voltage.
► Do not use the device to extract welding fumes that result from welding oil-wetted parts.
► Do not use the device to extract flammable substances and liquids.
► Do not use the device in areas subject to dust or gas explosion hazards.

Remove the cap from the intake fittings.

Screw the connectors on both ends of the
extraction hose.

Connect one end of the extraction hose with
connector to the welding torch cable assembly.

Connect the other end of the extraction hose to
the device's intake fittings.
A maximum of two fume extraction torches may be
attached to the device.
